This is a critical moment for California’s clean energy future. The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) recently proposed a $57 monthly solar penalty fee for rooftop solar users. This action could put solar energy out of reach for working families, not to mention our statewide climate goals. Tell Gov. Gavin Newsom that this proposal is outrageous: now is the time to lean into solar energy, not penalize the people who produce and use it!
