Every election year, fossil fuel companies spend millions to stop climate action and maintain their profits. During the 2020 election cycle, California legislators received more than $3 million in fossil fuel-affiliated money — and a third of those dollars went to Democrats.
To make real progress on climate, we need elected officials who will stand up for the planet, not polluters.
